Indonesia’s Independence Day

To celebrate Indonesia’s Independence Day, Year 9 Indonesian students created some fun activities for the Pre-Primary students. The activities were inspired by Indonesian games and activities to celebrate Independence Day in Indonesia, such as Tari Balon (Ballon Dance), Lomba Sendok & Kelereng (Spoon & Marble Race), Lomba Lari Karung (Sack Race), Jam Berapa Pak Serigala (What’s the time Mr Wolf) and Lomba Bakiak (Bakiak Race). Simple Indonesian words were used in the game, such as numbers, greetings and instructions. Everyone had a great time!
