Caring for Chickens

The students have been busy in the Sustainability area caring for the chickens and trying to train them to go on the chicken swing.

The Year 5 and Year 6 students have added new plants and mulch to the Bush Tucker gardens. They were able to use their senses to engage with the gardens while working in them. The Bush Tucker gardens are looking amazing. 

The Kindy students have been learning about what worms like to eat and tearing up lots of newspaper to feed them.

The Pre-Primary students have enjoyed planting and watering strawberry bushes in their strawberry patch. 

Thank you to all the parents who have been providing waste free lunch boxes. It is so good to see we have started reducing the amount of waste around our school already.
