Year 3 Scitech Excursion

On Friday, 5 September, our Year 3 students enjoyed an exciting day of discovery at Scitech. The focus of the day was exploring Earth’s place in space and uncovering some fascinating facts about the sun. A highlight was watching Mrs Mitchell’s science demonstration, where hydrogen was set off in an explosive experiment, and students learned more about Earth’s unique elements.

With the support of our wonderful parent helpers, the children enthusiastically explored the many exhibitions on offer. They tested their strength by attempting to pull their own body weight, investigated the forces around us, and even had fun zapping each other with static electricity!

It was a terrific day filled with curiosity, hands-on learning, and lots of laughter—an experience our Year 3s will remember for a long time.
