Student Achievements
We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students, who continue to shine in academics, sport, the arts, and community service. Their dedication, talent, and commitment reflect the values of our College and inspire others to strive for excellence.
Ethan N [Year 12]
We are proud to celebrate the success of one of our outstanding students, Ethan N, who has been awarded Runner-Up Fairest and Best in the Peel District Association.
This prestigious recognition is a testament to Ethan’s dedication, sportsmanship, and consistent performance throughout the season. His achievement reflects not only his talent on the field but also his commitment to fair play and excellence.
Congratulations, Ethan, on this well-deserved honour — we look forward to seeing your continued success!
Alicia C [Year 12]
We are delighted to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Alicia C, a current Year 12 student, who has recently joined the Baldivis Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services as a volunteer firefighter.
In April, Alicia applied to join the brigade and, following a highly competitive recruitment process, was successfully offered a position. Over the past few months, she has shown tremendous dedication by completing both online and weekend training, and she is now qualified to actively respond to fire emergencies and support our local community.
Alicia’s journey reflects the College values of Challenge, Connect, and Contribute. She has challenged herself through intensive training, connected with her peers and the wider community in service, and is now contributing her courage, skills, and time to protect others. Her commitment also embodies the College’s vision of fostering faith, love, and service, inspired by Mother Teresa.
We are especially proud of Alicia’s ability to balance this significant responsibility with her Year 12 studies and part-time work. Her service is a shining example of compassion, courage, and stewardship, and we commend her for living out the values at the heart of Mother Teresa Catholic College.
Although Alicia is not yet old enough to apply as a career firefighter, this is her goal for the near future, and she is already preparing for that pathway with determination and maturity.
Congratulations, Alicia, on this outstanding achievement!
Harper A [Year 5]
We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Harper Adrian (Year 5), who recently represented Western Australia at the Australian Cross Country Championships held in Ballarat.
On 23 August, Harper competed in the 3km U12 Girls race, showcasing her endurance and determination against some of the best young athletes in the country. The following day, she returned to the course to compete in the mixed 4 x 2km relay, contributing her skills and spirit to the WA team effort.
This is a remarkable accomplishment for a primary school student, and we congratulate Harper on her dedication, talent, and commitment to representing both Western Australia and our College with pride.
