2025 MACA Cancer Ride 200

Students are invited to take part in an exciting volunteer opportunity at the upcoming 2025 MACA Cancer Ride 200, held over the weekend of Saturday 4 – Sunday 5 October 2024. This event sees around 1,800 riders cycle 200km from Perth to Mandurah and back, raising vital funds for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

The Ride relies on more than 400 volunteers to support both the lead-up and event weekend. There are a wide range of volunteer roles available, and students are encouraged to get involved:

  • Students aged 16 and over can volunteer independently

  • Students under 16 may volunteer if accompanied by a registered adult

  • Volunteer hours can be signed off if required

Volunteers will receive a t-shirt, snack pack, and a certificate recognising their contribution. Students can register individually, as a group, or even get family and friends involved to volunteer as a team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a major community event while supporting life-saving cancer research.
