Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady
Today is a special Feast Day in the Catholic Church where we celebrate Mary, Mother of God, being assumed - body and soul - into heaven at the end of her Earthly life.
This is a holy day of obligation for Catholics, which means we are asked to attend Mass to celebrate the Eucharist, and give thanks to Our Lady.
This morning, our community came together to celebrate the Feast Day with a beautiful service at St Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Baldivis.
