Youth on Health Festival

On Thursday, 4 September, our talented dance students from Years 8–12 proudly represented the College at the YOH Fest Performing Arts Festival, embracing this year’s theme “Colour My World.” The festival was an inspiring platform for our students to showcase their creativity, passion, and teamwork through dance and performance.

Our College dance troupe presented a powerful piece titled “Underdog.” Choreographed by several of our students, this moving performance honoured everyday heroes in our community — teachers, nurses, single parents, musicians, and frontline workers — whose resilience and dedication continue to inspire us all. The piece concluded with community members joining the troupe on stage in a heartfelt moment of gratitude. A special thank you to Miss Jenny Mullin for her dedication in representing teachers on stage.

The Year 11 cohort also captivated audiences with their emotional piece, “Finding a Friend.” Exploring the comfort and hope found in friendship during times of struggle, their depth of expression and creativity shone brightly. Their outstanding performance earned them an Overall Award — a remarkable achievement and testament to their hard work and talent.

Congratulations to all our performers for your courage, dedication, and artistry. You brought the “Colour My World” theme to life and made our College community immensely proud.
