R U OK? Day at MTCC

Yesterday, the College community came together for an inspirational R U OK? Day filled with colour, energy, and meaningful connection. From the moment students and families arrived, they were greeted with cheers of “Are you OK?”, alongside vibrant yellow signs, costumes, and accessories that set the tone for the day.
The purpose of the event was to remind us all of the importance of checking in on one another, building a culture where conversations around wellbeing are welcomed and encouraged.
At lunchtime, students and staff enjoyed a “Walk and Talk” around the oval, accompanied by lively music and dancing. The atmosphere was full of joy and positivity, reinforcing the message that taking time to talk, listen, and move together is a powerful way to strengthen our wellbeing.
The day was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on all who participated. A special thank you goes to Miss Baxter, whose planning and leadership ensured the event was both uplifting and impactful.
Together, as a community, we were reminded that a simple question—Are you OK?—can make a big difference.
