Junior School iPads
As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a focused and supportive learning environment, we have recently made changes to the way apps are managed on Junior School student iPads.
We have reduced the number of apps that are automatically pushed out to our devices currently used in the Junior School. This decision was made with careful consideration and is aimed at enhancing the educational experience for our students.
Why the Change?
Here are a few key reasons behind this update:
Reduced Distractions
Fewer non-essential apps mean students can concentrate more easily on their learning tasks without unnecessary digital interruptions.Increased Control and Safety
By limiting the number of apps, we can better monitor and manage the digital tools students are using, ensuring they are age-appropriate and aligned with our learning goals.Focused Learning Environment
Streamlining the app selection helps reinforce the use of core educational tools, promoting consistency across classrooms and year levels.Simplified Device Management
Fewer apps mean quicker troubleshooting, easier updates, and more efficient support for both students and staff.
We understand that technology plays a vital role in modern education, and we remain committed to using it in ways that best support student growth and wellbeing. We understand that students will take some time to adjust to the changes and are grateful for the ongoing support of our community.
