Year 8 HumanKIND Program

Over the next four weeks, our Year 8 students will be taking part in the inspiring HumanKIND Program, delivered by the incredible team from Zero2Hero (Z2H).

Founded here in WA, Zero2Hero is a mental health charity dedicated to empowering young people to become mental health heroes in their schools and communities. Their programs focus on building resilience, compassion, and leadership. HumanKIND is informed by compassion-focused therapy (CFT) — an evidence-based approach proven to be transformational for young people, encouraging self-compassion and empathy for the shared challenges we all face.

Locations

To accommodate the size of the cohort, students will be split into two groups. Sessions will be facilitated by the Z2H team in the Learning Hub and Gym.

This program is a beautiful opportunity for students to learn, lead, and bring kindness to life in our College community. Families, staff, and friends are warmly invited to pop in and see kindness in action throughout the sessions.
