The Friends of Mother Teresa are busy preparing for their highly anticipated Quiz Night – a fun-filled evening of trivia, laughter, and friendly competition you won’t want to miss.
They are also calling for volunteers to help bring our upcoming College Feast Day to life. This special event is a highlight of our year, and your time and energy will make all the difference in creating a memorable celebration for our students.
For our Junior School families, we invite you to attend an information session on mental health and wellbeing, offering practical insights and strategies to support your child’s emotional development. Meanwhile, for students undertaking OLNA assessments, we have extra support available to help build confidence and ensure they’re well-prepared.
Let’s come together, get involved, and make the most of these wonderful opportunities.

The Green team did a wonderful job running the stall, working out the change people needed and talking about the produce we have grown. We raised $140 which goes back into the Sustainability centre to buy chicken feed, some seedlings and a few watering cans.

Year 1 Excursion
Last Friday, the Year One students visited SciTech as part of our Inquiry unit. As part of our learning about energy and the seasons, students watched the Puppet Theatre Show Bursting with Energy, where Balga the Grass Tree and his animal friends explored where their energy comes from. They also visited the Planetarium to view the Tilt show, which helped deepen their understanding of how the Earth's movement causes seasonal changes. It was a fun and engaging day of hands-on learning!

Year 8 Students Explore the Heart of the Matter
As part of their Science studies on the circulatory system, our Year 8 students recently took part in a hands-on heart dissection. Building on their classroom learning about how blood circulates through the body, students examined the structure of the heart up close, identifying key features such as chambers, valves, and major blood vessels. The activity brought their theoretical knowledge to life, sparking curiosity and deepening their understanding of how this remarkable organ works to keep us alive.
Year 8 Father’s Day Breakfast – Friday 5 September

The morning will begin with a short liturgy (7:00–7:30am), followed by a shared breakfast (7:30–8:00am) and our much-loved Fathers vs. Students Basketball Match (8:00–8:20am) – where skill and strategy just might outshine youthful energy! Students are encouraged to wear their PE uniform with House Shirt.
