Hands-On Learning Spaces
Students studying Food Technology have access to a modern commercial kitchen where they can develop cooking techniques, food preparation skills, nutrition knowledge and confidence working in a team environment.
In our Metal and Woodworking workshops, students gain valuable practical experience using specialised tools and machinery while designing and creating their own projects in a safe and supportive setting.
Our sewing and textiles area also encourages students to explore creativity through fashion, design and textile production.
Experienced Teaching Staff
Supporting students every step of the way is our passionate and highly skilled Technologies teaching team. Our teachers bring a wealth of industry knowledge, creativity and practical experience into the classroom, creating engaging lessons that inspire students to learn by doing.
Pathways to Future Careers
Working closely with our Pathways team, the Technologies staff help students explore future career opportunities, apprenticeships, traineeships and further study options linked to their interests and strengths.
Together, they provide personalised guidance and real-world learning experiences that prepare students with the practical skills, confidence and knowledge needed for future industries and career success.
